Our lights. That´s the first thing you notice about Stewartville. By day, they stand as symmetrical sentinels along our main thoroughfare, graceful round globes resting atop 14-foot standards. By night, they trace an intensely bright pattern through town.
These lights, 350 globes atop 170 standards, have come to symbolize Stewartville as a prairie City of Lights where the future is bright. Snuggled along the Root River just 10 minutes south of Rochester, Stewartville enjoys its status as a stand-alone community experiencing rapid growth.
