Welcome to Guymon, the seat of Texas County, Oklahoma, lying on a flat plain in the approximate center of the Panhandle. The town is easily accessible from Route 54.
The Panhandle is level grassland, treeless except for elms, cottonwoods, and willows along the streams. Much of the land is still in native pasture grass.
This region is known to have heavy rainfalls, so take your raincoat or at least umbrella not to ruin your journey.
