Welcome to the town of Socorro – the museum of New Mexican architecture, one of the biggest country’s cities in the past (during silver boom).
The 90 minute drive from Albuquerque to Socorro is a fantastic one, driving I-25, the super-highway, and having a magnificent view of the sights and nature around.
With a population at about 8,200, the most of Socorro’s people prefer the life of a farmer. Location of the town is perfect for the farming.
